Trustees
Edward Reed, Chair, Macfarlanes Edward is a partner at Macfarlanes where he advises internationally mobile families on their asset structuring, personal tax, succession planning, wills and trusts. Educated in the UK and in France, Edward has developed an affinity for civil law issues generally. He is a bilingual French speaker and fluent in Italian.
Clare Barton, Vice-Chair and Safeguarding Lead Clare is a solicitor whose career includes working for a major City law firm and as an in-house lawyer. She has been a governor at her local Catholic school since 2013 and is Chair of the school’s Admissions Committee. She is active in her local parish, including as the parish’s CAFOD representative and MISSIO representative.
Very Reverend Father Michael Copps OFM, Spiritual Director A member of the Friars Minor (OFM) since 1965, Michael was Guardian and Novice Master in the community in Chilworth, Surrey from 1981-1990. From 1990-1999 he was a parish priest in Nottingham and was guardian of the community from 1994-1997. He was parish priest in St Antony’s, Forest Gate 1999-2001 and then in the same role in St Francis, Stratford from 2002-2005. In 2005 Michael was elected Provincial of the Friars and served until 2014. After another period as parish priest in Stratford, Michael was elected Custos in 2018.

Liam Allmark, Jesuit Refugee Service UK Liam is Head of Communications, Advocacy and Fundraising at the Jesuit Refugee Service UK. Prior to this he was the lead international affairs advisor to the Catholic Bishops of England and Wales. Throughout his career he has worked closely with Catholic charities in many countries including Palestine, Israel, Myanmar, Iraq, and Thailand.
Dr William Dibb Bill is a retired consultant clinical microbiologist and infection control doctor and Chair of Laboratories and Infection Prevention and Control for many years. Bill has wide infection experience abroad, including in low and middle income countries. He is a keen medical historian with special interest in the history of infection.
Professor Noel Gill Noel is an infectious disease epidemiologist and honorary professor at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Noel worked at the National Infectious Disease Surveillance Centre for England (1980-2020), leading the HIV and STI team.
Dr Donal O'Sullivan has worked for almost thirty years in South East London, first as a Consultant in Communicable Disease Control, and more recently as a Consultant in Public Health. Donal currently teaches on the MPH course at King's College London.
