St Francis Leprosy Guild (SFLG) is the UK's only Catholic leprosy charity.
We have cared for people with leprosy for over 129 years. We operate in fourteen countries in Africa, Asia and Brazil where leprosy is endemic. We support over 30 leprosy centres and projects to play our part in caring for those affected by the disease. We believe that a leprosy-free world is within sight; if not today, then soon. Will you join us in working towards a leprosy-free world? |
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our Board of Trustees as Treasurer.
Trustee - Treasurer
We need a finance professional, ideally with charity finance experience, to join our Board of Trustees as Treasurer. It is a strategic role to guide our Trustees on financial procedures and strategy. There is no requirement to be involved in SFLG's day-to-day operations.
SFLG has an Executive team comprising a full-time Director, Programmes Manager and a Secretariat/Policy Manager. The work of the Executive team is extended by a group of experienced professionals and contractors: an accountant, a data manager, a donations & donor relationships manager, a social media expert and a fundraiser.
The Chair and Trustees provide oversight of the Executive team, contribute to the development and implementation of our strategies, but there is no executive function.
The new Treasurer will join us at an exciting time in our history when we are actively seeking out and treating people with leprosy, to end the disease for good.
For more details of the role's primary responsibilities, skills and terms, please download PDF.
To discuss the role further, please email Katharine Jones (Director) on: [email protected]
Closing date: end July 2024
