Dear all,
 
Thank you so much for giving me such a splendid “send -off”!  I was deeply touched, by the festivities and the presents, which mean a great deal to me.  It was a long nine years, I’m prepared to admit.  But I do think at the end we have achieved something.  And what pleases me more than anything else is that I have the greatest of admiration for the new team now assembled and driving the Guild forward – so you are due congratulations too!
 
Do please pass my thanks to everyone who was able to attend the drinks, and to those who were unable to attend: I admire and cherish you all!
