St Francis Leprosy Guild is the UK's only Catholic leprosy charity.

Inspired by our patron saint, St Francis of Assisi, we have cared for people with leprosy for over 130 years. We operate in twelve countries in Africa, Asia and Brazil where leprosy is endemic.
By supporting over 30 leprosy centres and projects we play our part in caring for those affected by the disease and working towards a leprosy-free world. We believe that a leprosy-free world is within sight; if not today, then soon. Will you join us and work towards a leprosy-free world? |
SFLG's team comprises a full-time Director, Programmes Manager and a Secretariat/Policy Manager. The work of the team is extended by a group of part-time professionals and contractors: an accountant, a donations and donor relationships manager, a social media expert, copywriter and fundraiser and a trust fundraiser.
The Chair and Trustees provide oversight of the extended team, contribute to the development and implementation of our strategies, but there is no executive function.
We would welcome interest from anyone who would like to join the Board of Trustees. We have particular need for experience of leprosy in the field, working for small charities and fundraising. We are also looking for a treasurer.
