St Francis Leprosy Guild is the UK's only Catholic leprosy charity
Inspired by our patron saint, St Francis of Assisi, we have cared for people with leprosy for over 130 years. We operate in twelve countries in Africa, Asia and Brazil where leprosy is endemic. By supporting over 30 leprosy centres and projects in twelve countries, we play our part in caring for those affected by the disease and working towards a leprosy-free world. We believe that a leprosy-free world is within sight; if not today, then soon. Will you join us and work towards a leprosy-free world?

The Board of trustees is responsible for the governance and strategic direction of the charity, and their role is to ensure compliance with the charity's governing document and applicable laws. The trustees must act in the charity's best interests and manage the charity's resources responsibly. We have four Board meetings a year, some are face-to-face in London and some are held online.
If you are interested in joining the Board, we would be delighted to hear from you. We would particularly welcome anyone with experience of working in the field of leprosy or, for a small charity or, in fundraising. We are also looking for a treasurer and would be interested to hear from anyone with financial or accounting experience.
