St Francis Leprosy Guild (SFLG) takes supporters’ privacy and data protection very seriously.
SFLG holds data provided by donors for financial reporting, for management of regular giving and in order to provide reports to donors which is in the legitimate interest of SFLG and would be reasonably expected by the donor.
SFLG does not purchase personal data from other sources nor does it ever pass on personal data to any third party and will not do so unless required by law.
SFLG recognises that all donors and supporters have the right to know what data SFLG holds about them and SFLG will at all times respond speedily and thoroughly with such information.
SFLG holds the data employees have provided for the management of the organisation and as required by HMRC.
GDPR process
In May 2018, SFLG wrote to all donors and supporters seeking their personal consent for SFLG to maintain their data. Any individual who has responded to the effect that they no longer wish to receive communication from SFLG will be marked as such on the database and will not be contacted.
