Appointed in January 2022, Yvonne Morgan is Programme Manager for St Francis Leprosy Guild (“SFLG”). She is responsible for overseeing SFLG’s global grant programmes and delivering maximum benefit to beneficiaries, partners and donors alike.
Yvonne has extensive experience of working in international development for NGOs and NPOs. She is skilled at capacity-building and providing organisational support for small NPOs. She is accomplished in mobilising resources from local and international funders and expert in strategic planning, governance and policy creation. In addition to her professional career, Yvonne is a school governor for Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School in Bristol. |
For the last three years, Yvonne has worked as Trusts and Grants Officer at the Diocese of Clifton, Bristol. She was responsible for funding, supporting and developing the work of the diocese, its parishes and other Catholic organisations.
Before returning to the UK, Yvonne served as Executive Director of the Catholic Health Care Association of Southern Africa (CATHCA), Johannesburg. From 2008 to 2018, she was responsible developing and managing CATHCA's programmes, staff, public relations, resources, budgets, planning and reporting.
From 2003 to 2008, Yvonne worked for the Charities Aid Foundation Southern Africa (CAF), Johannesburg, as Advisory Services Manager. She managed the corporate social investment (CSI) and grantmaking programmes and was responsible for reporting, training on governance and accountability and organisation of CAF’s annual conference. She was Acting Co-CEO from 2007.

In her spare time, Yvonne loves reading and travelling, especially to Italy and anywhere with warm sea water, skiing, solitaire, historic churches and history.
