Putting Your Donations To Work

Junagadh: This patient has been able with the help of the Sisters to develop a shop of spare parts for motorised rickshaws

Pichattur. "We have purchased a medical van with your kind financial support and we are rendering a marvelous service to the poor, needy and destitute leprosy deformity patients, transporting them from their houses to the nearer hospitals and back to their villages."

Dhanjuri: In order to support its outreach work, Dhanjuri Leprosy Centre in Bangladesh has bought three motorcycles with funding from the Guild. Staff members are driving more than 100km a day to attend clinics and field projects, thus improving the service the Centre provides in leprosy control and health education.

Chertala (Kerala, S. India ). "Our roof was repaired and maintained with timely help from the Guild. In the rainy season our inmates are comfortable under the repaired roof".

Young man with a goat provided by the Guild who also paid for husbandry classes to teach owners how to care for them. Last year he was begging but now as a 'property owner' he is a respected member of the community.

Community education. A Sister from Junagadh shows a tell-tale spot on this schoolgirl to her classmates. Caught early, the disease will not take hold.
